Emma Morley Photographer
Emma is a professional photographer with a focus on capturing people in the context of their pursuits. Specialising in high-quality commercial photography for fashion, lifestyle, portraiture, and equestrian sports. Outside of work Emma has a particular interest in fine art and underwater imagery and her work displays an ethereal quality.
Having worked on projects around the world Emma has extensive experience working with the still and moving-image across both digital and film platforms. Her work has been published in various publications including: Australian Geographic, Inside Sport, Asian Diver and Kite surfer UK.
In the early 1990’s Emma studied photography at Savannah College of Art and Design then worked as a studio photographer in the USA gaining valuable experience shooting glamour portraits and beauty pageant portfolios. Emma continues to shoot beautiful portraits and loves the challenge of capturing the essence of a personality.
Returning to Australia in 1996 Emma focused on adventure sports and spent 8 years working on the Great Barrier Reef teaching SCUBA diving, underwater photography and other speciality diver training. Through teaching diving at various level in the PADI system Emma developed the valuable skill of facilitating training courses and in 1999 gained her PADI Staff Instructor qualification. In 2001 Emma completed a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and now has a vast amount of experience delivering VET courses for the workplace.
In 2008 Emma completed a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at Oxford Brooks University in England. This strengthened her arts background and gave a comprehensive knowledge of the design process. Coupled with her photographic and design work Emma is a photographer that brings valuable experience and industry expertise to her projects.
